Through the adventure, children will eat food at Chowpatty, dance on the streets during Ganpati’s birthday, and whiz in a black and yellow taxi across the flyover. Ideal for children under 10 years old, the lyrical couplets will leave children asking to read the book one more time! The authors, Rachana Chandaria-Mamania, a Brit and Kavita Bafana, an American are best friends that founded the company, Little Ustaads Arts PVT. (LUAPL) in 2007. The international brand is known for its Indian Classical Music classes now running in various cities in India and the United States. Rachana Chandaria - Mamania has been born and brought up in the UK. After completing her law degree, she moved to Mumbai and has been working in the field of early childhood education since the past 12 years. Rachana has founded The Mango Tree Preschool and has 2 small boys of her own. Rachana loves to play tennis and piano, but most of her time is spent between her own school and running after her boys! Kavita Bafana currently works as the Director of Admissions at a prestigious private school in the NY-NJ tri-state area working with 8th - 10th graders on high school placements. She has traveled extensively around the world and moved over 10 times in her life. The Namaste Series took life during her stint in Mumbai. She graduated Cum Laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in Art History and Economics followed by her Masters in Marketing at Northwestern University. Mrs. Bafana enjoys practicing yoga and teaching Indian Classical Dance, but spends a lot of time learning about new technologies, Marvel and gaming secrets from her 11 year old twin boys.
